We conect you with the Canary Islands
Isla remota is a new initiative which aims to work as a meeting point for remote workers in Gran Canaria and the society of the island. It has been created to upgrade the life experience of the workers here by taking a deeper knowledge of the environment and leaving a positive footprint during their stay as volunteers for social projects in the Canary Islands and our neighbor, Africa.

The way it works
As a remote worker in Canarias you will get to know all proposals that social and environmental organizations are carrying out from the island. In this first phase we will use face2face events and empodera.org to make the connections. We will coordinate the proposal of the NGOs through this platform, where you can access to find those actions in which, as a remote worker, you can choose to help as volunteer.

Our mission is helping remote workers to generate a positive impact during their stay as volunteers working for social projects in the Canary Islands.
The information collected through this form will facilitate the connection between remote workers and local NGOs.
If we can learn more about the interests and capabilities of the remote workers, then we will be able to propose specific actions with positive impact in our community.
